I now run Kitchen Central, a Beirut-based gourmet caterer. I love Mediterranean food and have won several prizes for my dishes. You can also see me on various TV channels cooking live.
My typical cuisine will vary most probably into warm and saucy; probably with an interesting fusion linking any international known meal to Lebanon.
I shift to a happier dimension when I cook. Driven by the sensorial experience while cooking, I love the process and the end result which is pleasing others.
Last October, I took my cooking passion to the next level, by attending a 5 months professional culinary program, at the academy of Chef Maroun Chedid.
I gained more discipline, more organisation skills, more understanding of cooking and working in a restaurant.
I am open to all genres of cuisine, and being a health conscious mom, I prefer balanced meals, that are easily digested and rich in nutrients.
I also happen to cook dairy free due to my lactose intolerance.

Hello, I am Monica. I have Armenian/Lebanese origins and I was born and raised in Italy…many love the combination, I do too and I consider myself an Italian to my core.
Growing up I have spent countless hours in the kitchen and I remember how I used to admire the women around me and how they used to cook with so much passion. Whether peeling garlic cloves or washing vegetables, being a child surrounded by traditional cooks at home taught me one important lesson: cooking is nourishing not only to the body but also to the soul. I am a hard believer that the very real psychological benefits of cooking surpass its physiological ones.
I officially began sharing my love for cooking in 2018 when I started my instagram page @thepestogodmother. I love Mediterranean cuisine and using fresh local ingredients that are in season.
